Mujahid Yusof , Religious Affairs Minister believes that the adult Uighurs being held by Beijing fiat in “vocational training centres” are being taught sewing, flower arrangement, the arts (patriotic songs and cultural dances), legal knowledge and other life enhancement skills.

It is shocking that Mujahid can say what he FB-ed about the purpose of those camps in his Kafkaesque Facebook statement.

Race and religion dynamics in Xinjiang

In the mid-18th century, China annexed the Uighur homeland of East Turkestan. The Chinese government now calls the territory ‘Xinjiang’ which in Mandarin means “new frontier”.

Landlocked Xinjiang borders Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, among other countries. Uighurs form the majority of Xinjiang’s Turkic-speaking Muslims. The Kazakhs are the second biggest Muslim group in this so-called “autonomous” region under Beijing rule.

In 1949 (the year the modern People’s Republic of China was proclaimed), just 291,000 or 6.7 percent of Xinjiang’s population were Han Chinese.

As the result of a massive inflow of Chinese settlers, however, the Hans began to make up more than seven-and-a-quarter million or 40 percent of the population, according to the last available census from year 2000 – refer table above.

Spanning from early 19th century to today, the Uighurs have halved as a percentage (ethnic ratio) of the Xinjiang population after being overwhelmed by Chinese immigrants.

In the matter of religious expression, China is an equal opportunity repressor – be it of the Tibetan Buddhists, the evangelical Christians or Falun Gong new age spiritualists.

As one example of religious curbs, a 2017 Chinese law restricts the length to which Xinjiang’s Muslim men are allowed to grow their beard.

Overall, government surveillance and security measures in Xinjiang as well as thought policing are strict, former Uighur detainees interviewed by western media have claimed.

Ten years ago in July 2009, race riots broke out in Xinjiang’s capital city of Urumqi. The violence was mostly Uighurs killing Chinese.

Reprisal killings by Chinese of the Uighurs immediately followed. Uighur men and boys also suffered “enforced disappearances” in retaliation, said a Human Rights Watch report released three-and-a-half months after the Urumqi bloody riots.

Since then, programmes to Sinicize the Uighurs – that is, to make them less Muslim and more Chinese in behaviour – have intensified.

SEBUAH penthouse berharga AS$51 juta (RM215 juta) di Manhanttan yang didakwa dibeli menggunakan dana 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) akan dijual, lapor Bloomberg.

Menurut Jabatan Kehakiman (DoJ) Amerika Syarikat, hartanah yang terletak di Walker Tower itu dibeli oleh Khadem Abdulla Al-Qubaisi pada 2014.

Bloomberg melaporkan, pendakwa raya Amerika Syarikat (AS) dan peguam mewakili pemegang amanah yang memiliki hartanah tersebut memohon kebenaran mahkamah untuk meneruskan penjualan.

Laporan juga menyebut, pendakwaan DoJ juga menunjukkan pada 2012 juga Al-Qubaisi menerima AS$437 juta yang dicuri dari 1MDB.

1MDB kemudiannya ingkar membayar semula bon dan IPIC dipaksa supaya menyelesaikan bayaran. 

London Court of Arbitration memerintahkan 1MDB membayar sebanyak AS$1.2 bilion kepada IPIC.

 In the Prufomo Affair, the British Secretary of State (Junior Minister) for War, Lord John Dennis Prufumo, was sacked and later jailed for having an affair with a call girl, the beautiful Christine Keeler.

He was jailed not because he slept with Keeler but because in doing so he jeopardised the security of the UK because she was a girlfriend to a UK-based Soviet spy.




Was Altantuya a spy? She was sexier than Christine. Najib would give all and put the security of the country at risk then.




This lady spy heavily camouflaged could have compromised national security.

IRAN TO THE BRINK AND BACK

 Bekas Pengarah SRC International Suboh Md Yassin (tengah) melarikan diri dari negara pada 2015 kerana takut dengan Najib Razak dan apa yang boleh dilakukan oleh bekas perdana menteri itu kepadanya dan keluarga.

Suboh yang berada di bawah perlindungan saksi melarikan diri ke Bangkok sejurus selepas berita mengenai skandal 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) didedahkan dan penyiasat mula membuat serbuan ke atas premis serta bank berkaitan dengan anak syarikatnya SRC International.

“Pada masa itu Nik Faisal (tengah) juga menghubungi saya dan dia memberitahu bahawa kes SRC International melibatkan Najib dan dia menyuruh saya pergi,” katanya.

Suboh yang berusia 68 tahun berkata, beliau berasa bertanggungjawab terhadap tindakan tertentu oleh SRC International yang dirasakan “tidak betul”.

“Saya tidak meletak jawatan sebagai pengarah, saya rasa bertanggungjawab terhadap dana yang dilaburkan di luar negara,” katanya sambil menambah beliau ingin kekal kerana mahu memastikan dana itu dikembalikan dari luar negara.

Trump said that he wants to make USA great again. To prove his point the policy is to make other countries - China, Russia, Iran, Cuba, Mexico, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq etc bow down to US pressures imposing various strategies -  sanctions, embargo, tariffs, import-export, market and monetary manipulations, trade war, sabre rattling, bombs and weaponry, war. Subject the enemy countries to extreme measures to the brink and test if they can react to withstand the long onslaught. Eventually, most of the countries will succumb to US will and accept the Great Satan's terms.

Iran was and is a great country. Its civilisation has been tested through the centuries. In case of war against US and western allies Iran will be another case Iraq or Afghanistan. Iran will become the battlefield of proxy wars.
