IN THE LION'S DEN OF BASHAR ASSAD

I had been to the lion's den that of Bashar Assad, Lattakia district northwest coast of Syria thrice several years before the civil strife. My host family is at Qassabin, a farm village in the district.

Now, I realise that people were keeping an eye on me, for on the second visit I met an army personnel in uniform at the neighbour's house. On the last visit, a policeman in civilian clothes was stationed at the same neighbour's house. Everyday he would pass by my host's house several times perhaps checking my whereabout. This happened after I wandered to a nearby village alone taking pictures.  A villager stopped me and asked (most likely) what I was doing. In reply, I could just say a few Arabic words of greetings.

Until today I don't really follow why many of his people are warring against him. 

KILLING THE BEACHES ON SUNDAYS

Perak, the silver state has three beautiful beaches off the coast of Manjung district - Teluk Batik, T. Senangin, and T. Rubiah. 

Teluk Rubiah 

An Italian iron ore processing mill is in operation just north of Teluk Rubiah. The beautiful beach there is now out of bounds. Before the mill was built, there is a resort by the beach with several 3-storey wooden chalets, a golf course, and bungalow lots already pegged. When I stumbled on the beach some 5 years ago, the facilities built during Ramly Ngah Talib's time are in abandoned state, no visitors are allowed. It was a lost venture and to cover it up an iron mill is put on plan. Kampong folks who live in T. Rubiah area were forced and compensated perhaps to be relocated elsewhere. 

Why condemn a beach, a thing of natural beauty where people can enjoy by setting a polluting factory? Money matters above the rakyat. Greed above all. 

Teluk Senangin

Hotels, chalets, restaurants in the area are having difficult times to get customers. Why? There are a number of commercial poultry farms in the vicinity that attract breeding houseflies. The flies are a nuisance everywhere. The poultry farms need to be relocated elsewhere far from areas of residence and business.

Teluk Batik

Teluk Batik is one of the most scenic spot in Perak. The beach is a popular weekend resort. However, its environ is deplorable.

1. The beach is perennially littered with rubbish - discarded plastic bottles and bags, diapers, waste food items. 

2. The garbage disposal system - bins and collection not in order.

3. Food and souvenir stalls too many and  too close to the beach. They are shabbily constructed.

4. Poorly maintained and abandoned chalets means that they are not holiday friendly, of poor design, lack facilities.

5. (2nd picture below) - Wooden chalets built on the hill slope not occupied. For one thing direct access for vehicles not available. 

6. The beach is concretised with over hard landscaping.

7. Overall, Teluk Batik is poorly maintained and much money has been wasted.

8. Recommend that the beach's environ to be overhauled by professional design, landscape, and maintenance. 
9. There is so much wastage of resources already because of improper planning.

Out of place concretised man-made lake (privatised) not in use. People just want to enjoy the beach, natural and free.

CINA LING TEMPELENG NAJIBUGIS

Pahlawan bugis sudah terhimpit tepi dinding. Mata membulat besar seperti mata kerbau. Bibir bertambah merah.  

Ia genggam hulu keris Lok Jembalang Saka Kempunan Darah sedia untuk dihunus. Darah amuk naik menggelegak. 

Kau cabar aku hentak. Begitu perasaan diri Najibugis. Bengis. Habis Melayu takut menyembah bumi    atau bertempiaran lari.

Tidak sangka ada cina cabar dia. Dulunya memang dia bela cina dengan habuan.

C: Itu duit 2.6bilion mana datang? 

N: Itu wang halal, Tok Sheikh kasi. 

C: Culi punya wang gwa olang atak mau o.

N: Jangan manyak cakap, lu pun ada hantam wang.

C: Semua olang hantam wang. Gulayu talak kelija kasi hantam saja.

N: Jangan kasi Melayu malu. Mari sini, aku nak lempang kau.

C: Gwa talak takut. Lu ala tengok itu Bluce Lee. Gwa kungfu sama lu.

N: Nanti, saya mau balik asah-limau ini keris. 

C: Lu tanya itu mini bila mau jumpa.

N: Satu minggu lagi.

C (dlm hati): Ala patut ini gulayu cina kasi tempeleng hali2. Manyak bohong. Lancau. 
N (dlm hati): Aku suap dia 100juta tentu cin tu balik tongsan.

PITY THE PEOPLE

Our civilisation is no more humane, on the demise going upside-down. 

These people depicted below and among the millions others who should get donations instead Najib the Liar got RM2.6billion!

CIA-FBI DRONES DRONING ON NAJIB

These people, DPM Zahid, FLOM Rosmah, IGP Khalid, prepaid bangang bloggers and others dismissed talk on FBI-CIA as child play. Don't make yourselves sound so stupid.

We don't really know how they operate and the technologies they use. These people can celebrate in ignorance that Najib is not out of the cross-hairs.

For one thing they have drones to monitor enemies. Don't see them drones high above in the sky, do you? What it means that they don't have to be seen doing their job. What more to  tell what they are up to.

Den buek kojo diam2 kau tak nampak. Tak macam polis kito, buek sikit gompak bosar. Tak buek pun gompak. Bak kato baru betolo sobiji dah ghioh sokampong.

Den nak cakap sikit macam mano caro den buek kojo. Mulo2 den gompak kao dongan borito2 dalam media di merato dunio. Den nak tengok macam mano kao melonting ko tidak. Nak saman ko tidak. Yang oghang kao ghioh nak saman tu tak saman pulak. Kocot tolo ko. Cakap bosar. Oghang bosalah memang takut.

Solopeh sajo TPPA Zahid poi menyombah Kerry. Ada apo2 contra ko? Ado tit-for-tat ko? Kalau dah tosopit ikutlah tolunjuk Amerika! Kalau sughoh makan taik makan taiklah kito.

Kepada Ydh Tan sri saya ingin mengambil peluang untuk menasihati Tan Sri agar dapat menghayati setiap patah perkataan yang tertera dalam Sumpah Jawatan, Ikrar Polis, Rukun Negara dan Perlembagaan Negara. Sudah lupakah Tan Sri bahawa telah sekian banyak warga PDRM, majoritinya yang berpangkat rendah, yang ditangkap dan diadili serta dihukum kerana rasuah yang tidak seberapa besar nilainya jika dibandingkan dengan misteri "kehilangan" wang 1MDB??? Tanpa mengira kecil ataupun besar nilai wang serta tinggi rendahnya pangkat mereka yang terlibat dalam satu-satu kes itu.....jenayah tetap jenayah. 

..... ukan oleh pemimpin tertinggi negara. Saya amat yakin ramai warga PDRM sendiri yang berasa kecewa dengan halatuju tindakan siasatan oleh pihak kita. Di sebalik kuasa yang begitu luas PDRM dilihat mengambil pendirian bersahaja, sambil lewa atau acuh tidak acuh dalam pendekatan siasatan kes 1MDB. Malahan Tan Sri sendiri dianggap oleh orangramai telah BERSUBAHAT DENGAN SENGAJA MELINDUNGI mereka yang terlibat dalam kes ini dan di waktu yang sama telah menganiaya pegawai-pegawai SPRM dan Bank Negara. Adakah Tan Sri diugut oleh mereka dengan sesuatu yang menakutkan? Cukuplah Tan Sri. Kembalilah bernaung di bawah pancaran semangat Panji Di Raja PDRM yang kita arak setiap 25 March. Berilah pengisian yang terbaik kepada Ikrar Hari Polis itu. Gunakanlah segala kuasa yang ada pada jawatan Tan Sri itu di jalan Allah SWT. Jadilah KHALIFAH ALLAH di bumi tercinta atau setidak-tidaknya contohilah keberanian dan kebijaksanaan pahlawan Islam yang terbilang, KHALID AL-WALID.
