JAPAN - WITHIN 50 YEARS, A WORLD POWER


The Meiji rule beginning 1868 saw the transformation of Japan and within 50 years became a world power that the west felt threatened that led to WWII.









Atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Japan stopped to be a world power. Fifty years later Japan is back as a power the world has to reckon with.
