The number of Islamic centres (masjids) and schools registered in the Muslim Yellow Pages in Texas are more than 55 and 27 respectively. Around Dallas alone there are 38 masjids and 15 schools.
Halal restaurants serving Indo/Pakistan dishes numbered more than 44 and about an equivalent number of Mediterranean (Middle East) are registered and many more smaller ones and those not registered.
Masjid of Frisco lies right along Main Street in the centre of the town. Frisco is on the outskirt of Dallas.
Friday prayers majority of Indo-Pakistan origin.
Imam Dr Zaffar (R) has been living in Frisco for 18 years. He is a PhD graduate of Aligarh University, New Delhi.
Many Islamic centres are expanding their facilities and more are coming up to be built. Alhamdulillah.
