Wah, kali ini Najibugis pantas buat keputusan. Ia berkeras, Ambassador Korea Utara mesti dihalau! Terpaksa Zahid uruskan tugas, Najib ke Jakarta. 

Keputusan mendadak menghalau ambassador itu tentu tidak dibincang dengan semasak2nya. Apa salah beliau? Adakah itu keputusan Najib sendiri atau ada mainan kuasa luar? Adakah diplomasi dan protokol antarabangsa yang sewajar telah digunakan?

Barangkali  Najib mahu jadi hero ataupun barua Amerika kerana tertekan dengan kes kleptokrasi. US sedang berentap dengan K. Utara. Kalau ada pak sanggup jadi trojan horse apa salahnya!  

Bila K. Utara menahan rakyat Malaysia baru Najib tersentak dan mahu adakan perundingan. MO1, kaki U-turn juga! Apa2 pun kita patut berlembut dahulu, kalau sudah buntu mungkin cara berkeras boleh digunakan. Itu pun kalau ada kemampuan. 

Yang dibunuh di KLIA ialah adik kapada Kim Jung Un. Yang terlibat membunuh bukan rakyat Malaysia. Mengapa kita melenting tidak tentu arah? Sengaja cari gaduh halau diplomat walhal kes mayat dan investigasi belum selesai. 

Itulah bahana  main duit tipu, cash (stolen) is king. Prolonged cover ups and the lies will work on the mind in strange ways .

In 2009, Malaysia Prime Minister Najib Razak established a sovereign wealth fund called 1 Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) to help the country attract foreign investment and boost its economy. Long story short, by 2015, 1MDB owed investors $11 billion. As investigations of the state fund got underway, it was revealed that $681 million dollars had been deposited into Najib’s personal account. The Prime Minister copped to the money transfer, but claimed it was a gift from Saudi royal family, about $620 millions of which he says he has returned. Two weeks ago, the 1MDB investigation uncovered that the total routed into Najib’s personal account was actually about $1 billion.

Malaysia is a de facto one-party country. All the country’s six post-independence prime ministers have come from the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO). That is why Najib owes his position to his party, not to the Malaysian people – good news for a man currently polling at 23 percent, the lowest ever for a Malaysian head of Government. He has spent the last half-decade strengthening his position within UMNO, and the past year since the 1MDB scandal broke purging his party of potential adversaries. This past summer, Najib fired his attorney-general, who had been leading the 1MDB investigation. Malaysia exemplifies how corruption drives man tall short in countries with a single party and weak governing institutions.

IGP AND GUNS GALORE

Sarawak Report can reveal that the brother of the Inspector General of Police is a director of a major arms and ammunition company, which has ties to suppliers of armaments to the police force.

This follows our expose last year that a company owned by the daughter and brother in law of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khalid Abu Baker is also selling arms and ammunition.

Conflict of Interest is a form of Corruption – is IGP aware?

Given the plain and blatant conflicts of interest Sarawak Report suggests that Khalid Abu Bakar should get his family to remove themselves from their new found careers within the arms business and steer away from occupations that can be seen to clearly take advantage of his position.

This is called conflict of interest and is treated as a criminal form of corruption in most countries, including Malaysia.

In most countries a public official would be pressured to resign with such gross conflicts brought to light as have surrounded the IGP.  However, to the contrary, Sarawak Report has learnt that the Prime Minister, Najib Razak, is planning to encourage the present occupant to extend his position beyond his compulsory retirement date due 5th September this year.

This is speculated as owing to the fact that Khalid Abu Baker is widely known for being (together with the new Attorney General) the key individual supporting Prime Minister Najib Razak, who has been probed for grand corruption over the $7 billion theft from 1MDB.
