(A fairly old ballad on mocking bird which I don't know the exact title nor the lyrics).

The little big bird
That never fly

What's its name?
Mocking bird
Cassowary ('kasawari')
Buzzard (carrion eater)

IS after the mocking bird?
Be gone
What a pity!

Kasawari must not die
Anymore


A Cassowary shot with a bow and arrow. The Cassowary, an ostrich-like bird standing some five feet high, inhabits the steaming jungles of New Guinea. Some tribes tipped their spears with the razor-sharp claw of its long inner toe; they also transfix their noses with pieces of its bones.
