After the mega kelptocracy debacle, we are now faced with Anwar, suffering delusions of power to be PM. Notwithstanding grevious shortcomings he had been behind bars, an ex-convict.
Anwar is just not PM material. He knows that and paranoid of checkmates without or within his own doings directly or indirectly.
Checkmate 1. Has been jailed for sodomy not once but twice. Yet, he has not learned.
The problem is not just Sodomy 3 allegation but another , Sodomy 4, that the police are themselves involved in. They set up a ‘sting operation’ and Anwar walked in to that honey-trap. There are voice-recordings and video-recordings of Anwar caught in the act, even recordings of sexy conversations.
If Anwar ‘tries to be funny’, meaning makes his move on Mahathir, then Sodomy 4 is going to explode.
Hamid Bador, the new Special Branch chief, has all the ‘Sodomy 4’ dirt on Anwar.
Checkmate 2. Mahathir got the pardon for him, yet manoeuvring impatiently to replace him. Mahathir is a gentleman and greater still is a statesmanship. The country come first. Promises can be broken.
Checkmate 3. There PKR factions against Anwar. The recent party election was held in shambles. Anwar's protege, Rafizi lost the Vice-Presidecy. Azmin won and he is making hay while the sun shines.
Checkmate 4. The ex-agong is no more Anwar's comrade. He went all the way to curry favour with the monarch.
Checkmate 5.There was an urgency for Anwar to become an MP. Just to make way for re-entry into Parliament, Port Dickson MP Danyal Balagopal Abdullah, a first time parliamentarian, has been forced to vacate his seat. People do not like forced-entry.
Checkmate 6. The "PM in Waiting" should go and campaign instead of travelling all over the world in private jets. And whose private jets are those? And with police escorts...who is paying for all this and does the PH Cabinet or Parliament approve?
Anwar does not know how to behave as an MP.
