JEWERY ENSLAVED IN BABYLON, 600BC


At the height of the Assyrian Empire that included Palestine. 


The Babylonians overcame the Assyrians. Map showing the extend of the Babylonian Empire (626-539BC) that included Palestine. 

A 17th century painting depicting Nebuchadnezzar's (king of Babylon) forces burning the city of Jerusalem in 586 BC. Most of the Jews were enslaved in Babylon.


The First Temple (shown below) was built during Solomon's reign over a period of seven years was razed to the ground by Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon in 586 BC. Above it, Solomon's palace was visible. 



The city of Babylon still exists in present day Iraq. America (Jews) destroyed Iraq.
