During the ravages of war, exodus and desperation of the Palestinians, Dr. Alijah Gordon (under the aegis of the Malaysian Sociological Research Institute, MSRI) was in Palestine, Beirut, Jordan and elsewhere to lessen the suffrage of the refugees in ways beyond the call of the ordinary. She had lived a full life to help and change humanity.
